Weekly Message: April 2
Hello Kindergarten Families, It was great to have everyone back and to hear about how kids spent their spring breaks. The children had an opportunity to share orally in a sharing circle, then to express their ideas through pictures and words in their journals. It is amazing to see their growth adding details to their pictures and sounding out full sentences. This week we worked on the letter Gg. We noticed that lowercase is formed using a "magic c", just like letters: a, d, o and c), and that it is an "underground" letter. Please practice reading Gus the Dog. Most children need to finish and label their pictures. We had fun in the gym this week, exploring ways we could use our bodies to share our learning about ocean environments, as Kindergarten is hosting the April Celebration of Learning.
